Poppy has been top dog in our house for almost nine glorious years – no interruption from any other furry creature and completely and utterly indulged!!
However my husband announced that he’d really like a tortoise for his birthday, so low and behold his wish was granted and Albert the Slow (Bert) arrived!
The furry four legged member of the household is highly unimpressed! She has been on tortoise watch almost constantly for 2 days now, occasionally licking her lips and quietly woofing!!….Will they ever get on I wonder? I’ll keep you posted…..
