Home Farm Cafe

Set in 250 acres of parkland on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, Home Farm CafÆ’e is a lovely place to visit at any time of day. We have lots of seating outside in our pretty courtyard and garden settings as well as inside the main cafÆ’e and in our long room.

We welcome dogs anywhere in the outside courtyard area and our Long Room offers shelter for you and your best friend to enjoy lunch inside. We have dog bowls and an outside tap with fresh water, a basket of fetch sticks and doggy treats for sale. Dogs aren’t allowed in the main cafÆ’e or kitchen area.

Parke is a really fantastic place to walk dogs on and off the lead.

We kindly ask our dog walkers to keep in mind that Parke is a managed countryside site and there will always be areas grazed by livestock and wildlife. Please keep your dog on a lead in areas with sheep. We offer plenty of sheep-free areas to walk dogs off the lead as long as they are kept under control’. Our interpretation of under control’ is your dog is kept within sight at all times and returns immediately when called.

It is every dog owner’s duty to make sure their pet is not a danger or nuisance to grazing livestock, wildlife or other people – especially children. We ask that dogs are kept on a leash in the courtyard area.If you can’t rely on your dog’s obedience, we ask that you respect the countryside code and keep it on a lead.
