Pets are part of the family and often when they die they leave huge holes in our lives.
I am Julie Wood, and as a Pet Grief Therapist I help pet owners come to terms with their loss.
Being responsible for our pet’s wellbeing can mean that we often experience self doubt, guilt or anger after they die.
Failure to deal with these emotions can lead to long term problems such as suppressing emotions or attempting to wash them away with alcohol, sleeping problems, depression or anxiety.
Grief is a natural process, but there are ways that you can be helped through it in a gentle and effective way.
I use a blend of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, coaching and grief counselling to help you say your most loving goodbye to your pet in a way that is right for you, without months of ordinary counselling. Meaning that you don’t have to struggle on alone.
I have been featured in The Hypnotherapy Journal, the periodical for members of The National Council for Hypnotherapy. The article aimed to help other therapists with clients grieving for their pets. I have also been interviewed by the BBC about my work.
If you want help and support through this difficult time book a free initial consultation to see if I can help you through this process. Please check out my Julie Wood Pet Grief social media pages for more information of how I can help or visit my YouTube page.
