Kirklauchline Cottage is just 3.5 miles from the pretty fishing village of Portpatrick in the Rhins of Galloway, South West Scotland. You can walk the coastal route from Kirklauchline Cottage to Portpatrick and enjoy the sea views or take a very short drive to the village. There are a good choice of restaurants and bars in Portpatrick and the village is a popular tourist spot.

Egyptian Cotton bed-linen, fluffy towels, hotel quality dressing gowns and complimentary toiletries are provided at no extra cost when you stay at Kirklauchline Cottage. The cottage sleeps up to 4 people in one double and a twin room.
Our holiday home is centrally heated and double glazed and we have two open fireplaces with Dowling multi-fuel stoves. A starter supply of logs and kindling are provided for cosy nights by the fire. You can enjoy a sea view from the comfort of your sofa, relax and look out for our local wildlife which includes roe deer, rabbits, hares, badgers, buzzards, starlings and lots more.
Kirklauchline Holiday Cottage comes equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay including a Flat screen TV with freeview, DVD player and music system with iPod connection, books, magazines, and games. We have free WIFI broadband via satellite and a landline telephone.
There’s nothing more important than a well-equipped kitchen when you’re looking for self-catering holiday accommodation. Although you’ll find plenty of good restaurants and bars in nearby Portpatrick, if you don’t want to eat out, you’ll need a well equipped kitchen. Kirklauchline’s kitchen includes an electric oven & hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster, washing machine and an iron & ironing board. You’ll find an initial supply of tea, coffee and sugar waiting for you and milk in the fridge. Our welcome basket includes local produce and other tasty treats. There’s even a welcome treat for your dog.
The garden at Kirklauchline Holiday Cottage is secluded and enclosed. The raised decking boasts a picnic table, outdoor lighting, and a BBQ. When you see the breathtaking views from your garden at Kirklauchline, you’ll want to stay forever!
