Review: A gem of a property

We have stayed in some very special properties over the years and this one easily ranks in the top two or three. From the moment we opened the front door we felt welcomed and truly at home. Our every need had been catered for, including a chocolate cake and bottle of wine waiting for us on the dining table. Fruit juice, croissants, bread, butter, jam, and eggs left for breakfast. Spotlessly clean with comfortable furnishings and well equipped we could not fault anything. The location is very quiet with lovely riverside or country walks from the door. The outside spaces are attractive and usable. One of very few holiday cottages that we felt we could live in permanently. Very dog friendly too.
