Cottage is great ! Visit Logan Botanic – superb gardens and our 2nd trip there. Ardwell House & Gardens – hidden gem in lovely walled garden, just us and the gardener – “wonderful!” Portpatrick is great for a day trip – buy gifts from the RNLI shop. Take the ferry from Cairnryan to Belfast to see the spectacular Titanic exhibition. Stena do a day trip 11:30am back 10pm for £80.00 (family of 4). Kirkmadrine Stones is otherworldly and the ancient church is in a very peaceful spot. Otherwise just pootling on the beach and hopefully seeing spectacular sunsets like we enjoyed.
