South Devon Railway

At the heart of the South Devon Railway, which runs from Buckfastleigh to Totnes Riverside, on the southern fringes of Dartmoor, is a delightful 14-mile return steam train journey along the delightful valley of the River Dart.

Your steam train takes you on a leisurely ride through some of Devon’s most peaceful countryside. Keep a look out for the abundance of wildlife and the hidden scenery, which changes with every season, as the train hugs the river for most of your trip.
