A private collection of seven Gold-Award winning luxury holiday cottages in Suffolk, with hundreds of Five Star TripAdvisor, Facebook and Google reviews! Here at Woodfarm Barns, we combine a dog-friendly ethos with the luxury that many don’t expect to find in holiday cottages accepting dogs. We don’t simply ‘tolerate’ guests with dogs, we welcome them.
We normally allow up to three well-behaved dogs and are also happy to discuss other pets with you on an individual basis. We have private, enclosed gardens in all our cottages so your dogs will be safe. We have a fully-fenced private dog meadow, as well as superb walks right on our doorstep, fabulous dog-friendly pubs and eateries and dog-friendly beaches to enjoy nearby too. Seven of our barns feature their own covered Garden Room with your very own Private Hot Tub. We supply robes and slippers for your convenience, as well as champagne buckets on stands for that ultimate luxurious touch too.
Our 500 year old thatched farmhouse forms two cottages, which each sleep two, and our six Suffolk barns each sleep two as well. These are crammed with original features, antiques and modern luxuries, as well as greatly appreciated touches such as Molton Brown hand soaps, fairy liquid, quality brand bedding and towels, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The best thing to do is look at our TripAdvisor reviews if you don’t believe us! Please watch our short video to find out more.

“We stayed in Orwell Barn for 4 nights. The barn is lovely and there is everything you could possibly need. The breakfast basket was amazing with enough food for 2 breakfasts and the dogs loved their treats. The garden is fully enclosed so our dogs were safe and they loved to run in the 2 acre meadow across the road. The shed is a great idea. It’s full of things you can borrow, from dvd’s to dog towels to bicycles. It’s the first time we’ve been on holiday with our 2 dogs so Suffolk was a great choice as there are so many dog friendly places to eat. We’d love to go back again.”

“My husband booked this as a surprise for my 50th birthday. We had a fabulous couple of nights here, the only thing I would change would be to stay longer! The barn (Alde Barn) was so cute and cosy with everything you could need – a great breakfast basket, filter coffee, Nespresso, plenty of hot water for showers, lovely hot tub, safe garden for our dog, 2 acre secure meadow for dogs. The area is lovely. We walked along to the church about half a mile along the road, it was idyllic. We loved Suffolk, visiting Dunwich Beach and Sutton Hoo and felt like we were returning home at the end of the day to relax in the barn and hot tub.”

“We recently stayed here in the Granary barn and it was excellent. The barn has been converted to a really high standard. Carl has retained all of the best bits of the old barn and has updated to a modern standard all of the essentials like kitchen, bathroom etc. Garden was a perfect size for sitting and playing with our 6 month old dog. The addition of the fenced in meadow across the road is a bonus. Carl and his team do a great job of maintaining the barns and facilities to a really high standard. Carl has lots of suggestions and recommendations for places to visit, pubs etc. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to everyone.”
