We are an independent, family run, restaurant & bar situated under the historic York Gate, with views of Viking Bay, Broadstairs.
Our menus change with the seasons and our produce is sourced locally. We have an extensive list of Kentish juices, beers, ciders and wines and only use local fishermen and butchers. When lobster is in season it’s caught half a mile away and delivered straight from the boat to our door. We bake our own breads, smoke our own fish and butcher our meats.
We are proud to have been included in The Good Food Guide 2015 & 2016 and have been recommended in The Michelin Guide 2016.
Our open kitchen offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and traditional roasts on Sunday. The bar serves a lighter menu throughout the day.
We welcome well behaved dogs.
