Wiltshire is the most perfect place for dog walks. Although it is a land locked county it has everything you could wish for. Woodland walks, stunning scenery, down-land, pretty towns and chocolate box villages.
The minute we stepped through the front door I knew that Pops and I were going to feel incredibly at home. Greeted by an impressive flag stone hallway, adorned with tasteful antique furniture, we made our way through to the main living area. A fabulous light and airy space which opens out onto a patio and enclosed rear garden.
St Ives itself has a unique charm and character all of its own. Everything you need is on the doorstep. You are literally spoilt for choice when it comes to dog-friendly cafes, pubs and restaurants.
We were staying in a pet friendly Casperro Caravan which are new for this holiday season (Spring 2019). When I say caravan, imagine more of a very well equipped lodge. I was instantly struck by the cleanliness of the accommodation, the well tended lawns and borders and the homely, welcoming ambience.
Having read the plethora of five star reviews and knowing that Woodfarm Barns had been awarded the Visit England Gold Award, we were expecting amazing things, and boy we were not disappointed. The barn really is perfect in every way and just oozes a rustic, cottage-like charm, making you feel instantly at home as soon as you walk through the door. The living space is compact and cosy with a fabulous log burner being the focal point of the living room.
