We’ve been busy putting PoochBox to the test – A Subscription Box for the Canine Fashionista.
I kid you not, when it comes to fashion accessories, Poppy outnumbers my measly selection by about ten to one! And, as the princess of posing what better excuse to have a pawdrobe which is literally brimming at the seams!
The most recent addition to her collection is a rather gorgeous bandana and bowtie set from Pooch Bandana.
Pooch Bandana was set up in 2018 and is the brain child of Amy who was on a mission to find high quality dog accessories at affordable prices for her little Dachshund Whiskey. Frustrated with what was on offer, she decided to start her own business, and she has certainly succeeded!
Just over a year on, and she has established a reputable brand selling doggy bandanas and bowties to a dog-obsessed nation!
Recently she decided to move her business in a slightly new direction, and whilst still offering a range of fabulous canine accessories, Pooch Bandana now also offer a monthly subscription box for dogs called PoochBox.
With a few treats thrown in for good measure, let’s face it who doesn’t love a tasty treat – particularly if you’re the canine of the species, this is a subscription box with a difference.
It is perfect for all you furry fashionistas out there and is designed to bring a splash of colour to your pawdrobe every month.
For many of you with Insta-famous pups out there, you’ll know that #onwednesdaywewearbowties and #bowtiethursday are big business! So having something new and eye catching to wear every month will ensure your pooch keeps up with the latest trends and stands out from the crowd.
The products themselves are beautifully hand crafted. There’s no off the shelf, one size fits all here! You provide Pooch Bandana with your dogs neck measurement when you place your order, ensuring it really is the pawfect fit.
Every last detail has been carefully considered. The bandana is lined with a high quality, contrasting material and the garment is fastened in place by two cute little buttons which compliment the colour way of the fabric.
With a stylish, suede effect label, bearing their company logo this truly is a quality product. You just can’t beat something handmade can you?
I love a spot of matchy-matchy, so was delighted to discover the bowtie was made from the same fabric as the bandana. It attaches to your dog’s collar with an adjustable Velcro loop ensuring it stays firmly in place.
I have to admit this is by far the most sturdy bow tie Pops has in terms of the fastening, it doesn’t keep slipping on her collar or look ‘floppy’ like some of them can! [Particularly frustrating if you’re trying to pap your pup!]
Made from a high quality tweed fabric, it’s just the business if you want your pup to be the envy of every pooch in the park!
What’s in the box?
In each PoochBox you can expect to find:
- A personalised dog bandana and bowtie
- Pin badges and sew on patches to accessorize your accessories!
- A selection of toys/ and or treats
- A different theme each month!
The box costs just £20.99 and you can choose to have it delivered every 1-3 months. The box is shipped in the first week of each month and what’s more, if you change your mind, you can cancel your subscription at any time.
I have to say, given the exceptional quality of the products, it is fantastic value for money. Just a bandana and a bowtie of this calibre would set you back a lot more than £20, so to have all the extra treats and badges as well is a real bonus.
Plus, it’s a complete surprise! I don’t know about you, but when I’m faced with a selection of gorgeous materials, I never know which to choose! The lovely thing about the PoochBox is that they doing the choosing for you!
Whether you’re after a bandana or bowtie for a special event, or are looking to accessorize your pup on a regular basis with their monthly subscription box, I can highly recommend Pooch Bandana. Why not sniff out their website? Just one word of warning…..you’ll need your credit card handy!
