Set in the stunning Oxfordshire Cotswolds, Monastery Barn is a gorgeous three bedroom dog-friendly self-catering barn, located in the village of Shutford in between Banbury, Chipping Norton and Stratford-on-Avon.
Our beautiful, refurbished barn, sleeps six to eight guests and up to four doggies, and offers all the creature comforts and facilities needed for a truly relaxing stay.

Monastery Barn has been refurbished to an incredibly high standard and creates a luxurious, cosy atmosphere with its muted colours and flag stone floors.
Whilst retaining many of the traditional features, we’ve added some new contemporary touches to ensure our guests have all the mod cons required of modern living.
As well as looking after our human guests perfectly, we also go out of our way to make sure your dogs feel just as welcome as you are.
On arrival, you can expect a basket of doggy toys, cooling mats, shampoo and feeding bowls.
Our garden is safe, secure and totally enclosed with solid fencing that is over six foot high, and lighting so you can keep an eye on your furry friends after dark. In front of the fencing are trees and bushes, so if you have a reactive dog, this is the perfect location for you.
We have a warm water handheld shower outside for our doggie guests and even a hairdryer and towels in the utility room for you to use. In our welcome pack you can find maps of local dog walks of varying lengths, along with suggestions of local dog friendly places to visit during your stay.
We welcome up to four dogs for no additional charge, and our previous four legged guests have included pups of all shapes and sizes. With plenty of space to enjoy we can accommodate large and small breeds alike.
