Windy Gap Holiday Cottage

Windy Gap is a magical woodland cottage, nestled within 6 acres of private mixed woodland located on Ainsdale Nature Reserve.The property sleeps eight (3 twin bedrooms & 1 King-size bedroom) and has a large reception room with open fire and a large dining table in the bay overlooking the lawn and woodland.There is a large well equippedkitchen including table and chairs for 8. We welcome dogs, so there’s no need to leave your furry friend at home.

Spot red squirrels from the veranda, stroll through pine woods leading to the sand dunes and sandy beach. Enjoy a game of tennis on the private tennis court in the grounds or you have a wonderful choice of world-famous Links Golf Courses close by. The house is ideally situated for Southport and Liverpool and there is a train station in Ainsdale that can take you directly to these locations.

Please note that Windy Gap was originally a shooting lodge and is over one hundred years old; it has no insulation and because of this it would be far too expensive to try to keep the property warm during the colder months.
