I moved to Wiltshire from Berkshire a few years and had to leave my excellent Vet behind. I tried many of the existing practices around Calne and Chippenham and was never totally satisfied or happy with them.
Reception staff mainly charmless, very young newly graduated Vets who seemed quite puzzled by many of my dogs normal and fairly straightforward ailments, mainly because of course they were inexperienced and needed a few more years in practice.
FINALLY a friend in the village hearing me complaining yet again about not being able to find a decent vet told me about hers at the wonderful Chalklands!
I’ve been with them a while now and my dog can regularly see the same Vet every time (Selina). The reception staff are charming and there is a wonderful atmosphere in the building.
